LSG Ink Program

Sometimes people make bad choices and sometimes they change. If you or someone you know has gang, racist, victim or radiation tattoos and want them removed in hopes of a better life, we want to help. We created the LSG Ink Program for those who have made mistakes and have changed and now want a second chance. We will remove those tattoos that are standing in the way – FREE – with no judgment.

Removing visible tattoos, especially those that are antisocial or related to gangs, will improve the chances significantly of finding employment and lowering the chances of re-entering the system. Removing tattoos from victims of human trafficking or even radiation tattoos can be a major step in the recovery process and can help restore dignity and self-esteem.

By removing ink that is misrepresentative of who those individuals are today, we’re erasing negative reminders that control them from moving forward.

Many people join gangs to earn protection or perks while they’re incarcerated or in their neighborhoods as a way of life. For those wanting out of the system and truly wanting a second chance at life, removing the ink can help them become better role models for their kids and avoid returning to prison.

Many times, human trafficking victims are branded or tattooed by those who enslave them to indicate ownership.  These tattoos can be found anywhere on the body – the neck, head, face, arms, legs, hands, or feet. Even for women who were in abusive relationships and have now escaped, the branding tattoo can be a constant reminder and can hinder the healing and mental and emotional treatment. The tattoo itself serves as a painful reminder and they find themselves having to explain the tattoo to those who inquire.

How Does It Work?

Applications need to be submitted and are then reviewed to determine whether the applicant meets the criteria. Applications are better received if there is a Parole Officer or Case Worker attached, but individuals are encouraged to apply as well.

Patients need multiple laser sessions held six weeks apart to allow their bodies to filter the ink particles and flush them out through the lymphatic system.  With each session, the laser beams break up large ink particles, making it easier for the white blood cells to remove them. We will remove the tattoo in its entirety as long as the patient is dedicated to the process.
