What Is TouchMD?

Touch MD is a computer hardware and software system designed to improve the relationship between clinic and patient and better educate patients on what they can expect. With touch-screen computer technology, TouchMD allows patients who are sitting in the treatment room to view information on specific topics and procedures, enhancing their education and allowing the patient a fuller understanding of the process so they can more efficiently communicate their thoughts, questions, and goals with LSG. Patients can even view animated models that can show them the potential results of specific treatments. You may explore procedures and services offered from Laser Spa Group, review recommended topics selected by Laser Spa Group, and relive each consultation saved to your personal timeline.

The TouchMD technology also helps LSG in providing you with a clear understanding of many aspects of treatment, giving him the ability to use interactive and visual tools to aid in the communication and explanation of treatment options, risks and benefits, potential results, and other factors.

Being more educated on specific procedures and able to ask specific questions helps both you & Laser Spa Group, giving you an enhanced comprehension of what to expect and providing LSG with a tool to give patients that makes educational use of any downtime they incur while in our office – allowing us to more efficiently communicate with you as well.

Consents/Forms: Prior to your consultation, please utilize the myTouchMD app to review and sign the assigned consents/forms in your myTouchMD account. Your assigned consents/forms may be found in the Timeline (main screen) of the app under the heading “Consents”.

You MUST fill out the NEW Client Information Sheet prior to your appointment to save time filling it out at the clinic. You will find this under “Consents.”

Our Patient Coordinator might have also sent you Recommendations on services and products as well as information about our clinic, you will find these under “We Recommend”.

IMPORTANT: If you are booked for a procedure you will also find your Pre and Post Procedure Instructions under “Please Review” as “Homework”

  • Smart Phone and Desktop interface lets you take your own pictures to share with us, and see those before and after pictures that were taken by us in the office. Oftentimes patients forget where they started and are better able to appreciate the transformation that has been achieved.

Photos: Prior to your consultation, please utilize the myTouchMD app to upload photos into your myTouchMD account. We will use these photos during your consultation. Please take and upload one (1) photo of each angle of the area of your concern (i.e., face, body, etc…).

You may take the photos yourself if desired. If you do so, please utilize a mirror for body consults.

For the face, please utilize the “selfie” mode. You may have someone else take the photo if desired. If at all possible, please have a clean background for your photo. For example, take the photo in front of a blank wall that is free of distractions. We also recommend taking each angle of the photo at the same distance and level, and using good lighting.

If you are booked for a consultation or initial appointment, You should receive a Welcome Email from the sender “TouchMD Messages” with the title Laser Spa Group welcomes you to myTouchMD, utilize this email to set up your password for the system. Once you have set up your password, please utilize the website on a desktop or laptop OR install the myTouchMD app on your smartphone as indicated in the links above.

A few minutes prior to your consultation, you will receive an email to connect with us virtually through a secure and HIPAA compliant manner! Select the link provided on a computer/tablet/smartphone to connect to your consultation. Follow the onscreen prompts and your provider will join you shortly.
