Microblading
Microblading
What is Microblading or 3D Embroidery Eyebrows?
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery and ‘feathering’) is a relatively new, manual method and one of the most popular new trends in beautiful eyebrow enhancement. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique.
igment is manually implanted directly under the epidermis (the skin) by using a uniquely designed and very tiny blade that leaves natural looking hair strokes. There is no machine used during this process. This semi-permanent tattoo method can not only help give the brow a natural looking lift in order to give a more youthful appearance. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin.
This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows.
The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.
The results can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Microblading procedure usually lasts around 2 hours, most of this time involves the prep work that needs to be done first. Before the tattooing even begins, we’ll work one-on-one with the client to ensure that we match the right eyebrow shape that best suites their needs and expectations. Also, the actual color of the brow will be selected in order to properly match the skin tone and desired finished look the client is looking for. We will customize the right eyebrow shade and thickness for you using a wide range of high quality hypoallergenic permanent makeup pigments and sterilized needle sizes. Before we begin the procedure, we sit down and work with you to shape your brows with a pencil, allowing us to agree on the best color and shape to fit your face. Microstroking does not require your entire eyebrow to be shaved and does not damage your natural hair
Once everything is ready to go, a topical anesthetic will be applied to the area to minimize any discomfort. Once the procedure is complete, minor redness and swelling is expected to occur. This will calm down in a day or so, depending on the client. Healing takes about 7 days and the skin will heal over the tattoo pigment during this time.
Initially the color of the new brow will look very dark, but this will soften as it heals over. The most important thing is to keep this area clean and dry as it heals. This means no picking at the brow area and also being sure to apply proper aftercare ointment to ensure proper healing.
A complementary follow up will be scheduled 4-6 weeks following the procedure. During this visit, minor touch-ups may be needed to perfect the shape of the new brows.
Pigment retention depends on skin type, age, aftercare, sun exposure, use of certain skin products, pigments used, immune system, medications and other factors. Touch ups are recommended once a year to prevent natural fading.
